Training With Medical Issues

When Dogs have health issues, training requires a lot more patience and compassion to help our pets find comfort and happiness.

I have worked with multiple dogs,

with a range of medical issues,

including chronic pain, severe allergies, skin conditions and physical disabilities.

I am passionate about giving dogs a way to communicate their needs. Dogs have good days and bad days, just like us, and our expectations and training has to reflect that to get the happiest dog and owner that we can.

Neuro-Diverse Owners

As a neuro-divergent person myself, I know how important a flexible teacher is. I also know how important it is to work with fluctuating energy levels.

Planning for difficult days is

important for Neuro-Diverse dog

owners, and so is including the necessary dog training.

My training is there to help your dog learn how to be calm on low energy days, or resilient training methods that take difficult days into account. Consistency is important, but so is learning to live together as a balanced and happy multi-species house hold!

I have been working with dogs since 2019, and have loved every moment of it! My love for dogs stated as a child, and I am honored to have my childhood dog, Toby, still living with me! My training journey didn't truly start untill I adopted my dog Albert, the Insperation for my logo.

Albert was a five year old rescue sharpei. He came to us scared of the whole world, flinching at humans, dogs, cars, almost everything. We discovered alot of his reactivity and fear was based in the multiple heath issues that he had! With a fantastic vet by our side, and empathetic and positive training, Albert transformed into a confident and brave dog with fantastic recall! He went on so many adventures because of his new found ability to handle the world around him with a happy and relaxed attitude!

We only got to have Albert for a year before his ilnesses became too much for his body to keep up with and we had to say goodbye to him. That is why I am so passionate about the work that I do. All dogs deserve to have adventures and feel happy, loved and comfortable. All owners should get to see their dogs enjoy the world around them.

Dogs are just a part of our lives, but we are all of theirs.
